First Peter Baptist Church was represented very well by Miss Jasmine Brown and Miss Nyasia Lewis at Ruth’s Virtuous Women’s Pageant hosted at Edisto Fork United Methodist Church Family Life Center on April 11, 2015. The purpose of this pageant was to place emphasis on the participants self-worth by reminding them of their inner and outward beauty. They were reassured that they can become successful adults, as long as they exhibit virtuous behavior and maintain high self-esteem by depending on God, not man.
Jasmine is the daughter of Ms. Pauline Brown. She is a 14 year old, eighth grade student at Guinyard- Butler Middle School in Barnwell, South Carolina. Jasmine’s hobbies include, but are not limited to playing the Bass Clarinet and singing.
Nyasia is the daughter of Mr. Roselle Lewis and Ms. Lena M. Jennings. She is an 11 year old, fifth grade student at Richard Carroll Elementary School in Bamberg, South Carolina. Nyasia’s hobbies include, but are not limited to singing and drawing.
Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the beautiful young ladies, for a job well done!
