Carrie Moody- left & Jacqueline Blanding- right

The First Peter Baptist Church family observed Breast Cancer Awareness during their Worship in Pink Service (coordinated by First Lady Annette Williams, ambassador for the Susan G. Komen Foundation along with the Sisterhood Ministry) on Sunday, October 19, 2014.  The congregation dressed in pink attire as an attribute to Breast Cancer Awareness.  Breast Cancer survivors, Sis. Jacqueline Blanding and Sis. Carrie Moody were honored.  Both ladies gave profound remarks regarding their diagnosis (through early detection) and treatments that they endured with the support of their families.  It was because of their unwavering faith in God, that they never loss their courage and determination.  Both Sis. Blanding and Sis. Moody acknowledge that they were healed because God still has work for them to do.  The sermon, “Don’t Lose Your Vision.”, preached by Pastor Carl E. Williams, Sr., was befitting the occasion; because through it all, neither of these ladies lost their Spiritual Vision€.
